Plan Your visit

We look forward to your visit! Here is some information to know before you arrive:

  • We are open Fridays from 12-5 and Saturdays from 11-5.
  • We are open year-round, but we will be closed on the following dates in 2024: July 5-6, December 27-28.
  • We are not doing formal tastings at this time, but we are offering wine flights, which let you taste all five of the wines we make at Cloer Family Vineyards.
  • We serve delicious wine spritzers in the spring, wine slushies in the summer, sangrias in the fall, and mulled wine in the winter (ALL specialty drinks are Saturdays ONLY).
  • You are welcome to bring outside food to enjoy. We also have “Make Your Own Charcuterie Baskets” with NC products such as cheeses, salamis, cheese straws, cookies, peanuts and much more.
  • Outside alcoholic beverages are NOT allowed to be brought onto the property due to NC ABC laws.
  • We have seating all around the winery and some indoor seating, but you are welcome to bring your own chairs and blankets, if you prefer to space out a little more.
  • There are five acres of grape vines to walk through and take pictures.
  • You can also visit our sheep and horses. We do ask that you DO NOT go over, under or through any fence! You are welcome to pet the horses, if they are close to the fence, but please do NOT feed them.
  • If you have a group of 8 or more, please let us know in advance so we can be prepared for your arrival. We can accommodate larger groups with a small patio-rental fee for groups of 20 or more.
  • We are family-friendly and have a play area to keep the kids entertained. We also have Kids Boxes (includes Capri sun, granola bar, goldfish, fruit snacks and coloring sheets or bubbles) for them to enjoy. This is a working farm, so parents are responsible for their children at all times.
  • We love well-behaved pets, as long as they are kept on a leash and you clean up after them! Please do NOT take dogs up to the sheep enclosure!

WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU SOON!
