Did you know that Apex has several thriving women-run farms that provide products and services to the community? Once a year, they open their doors to let us see how they do what they do, and you don’t want to miss it! It’s time for the She Farms Apex 2026 Farm Tour!
Ready to swap the city buzz for crisp fresh air, abundant fields, and the simple joy of farm life? Join us for the She Farms Apex Farm Tour — a wonderful day spent on working farms right here in Apex, North Carolina. Step onto the land and connect with the women farmers who are the heart and backbone of these thriving operations. You’ll also meet inspiring guests including master gardeners, local producers, county extension agents, children’s book authors and other women owned companies. Wander through vibrant fields of juicy berries, colorful flowers, grapes, and fragrant Christmas trees. Listen to heartfelt stories about daily life on the farm, innovative sustainable practices, and the deep rewards of working in harmony with nature.
Along the way, say hello to friendly farm animals, snap plenty of photos, and experience agriculture up close. Take home a true taste of the farm with fresh berries, flowers, wine, and other local goodies available to purchase.

The women at the participating farms are in the process of establishing an annual scholarship to support the next generation of women in agriculture, supported in part by the She Farms Apex farm tour.
